Chad Mooney is an extremely ethical individual with a 35 year highly productive history on Wall Street and an extraordinary record of achievement in financial management and public capital markets. Chad built one of the top 10 businesses out of 15,000 at Smith Barney where he was the largest equity syndicate producer, as well as having the biggest listed equity trading business. He chaired the Director’s Advisory Group at Smith Barney, representing 15,000 financial advisors and reported directly to his personal mentor, Mr. Jamie Dimon, who is currently Chairman and CEO of JP Morgan. From 1990 to 2004 he served as Director of Investments for the firm and oversaw and advised $3.5 billion in client assets. In 2000, after helping build it into the largest water company in the world and a NYSE listing, he coordinated the sale of US Filter to Vivendi, in France for $8.1 billion in cash. Previously, Mr. Mooney was Director of Investments for Wachovia Securities where he led a large high net worth team with emphasis on the family office and wealth preservation.

Chad has dedicated his life to helping young people with special needs whom he truly believes have so much good to offer the world, if only given the opportunity. He is nationally recognized for his efforts in providing those opportunities to those with autism, diabetes, A.D.D. and A.D.H.D., abuse and affording athletic programs to those less fortunate. Mr. Mooney currently serves as Chairman and CEO of The Spectrum Place, an education company that provides social skills programs for adolescents with autis and special needs.

He is Chairman and CEO of Spectrum Sports, a non-profit 501 C-3 specializing in programs helping children and young adults with special needs. Spectrum Sports, Inc. mission is to provide special needs children and young adults with an opportunity for enriched educational experiences through structured participation in all aspects of sports, athletic and outdoor activities while serving as a community resource celebrating the diversity of the Southwest; to create a model of athletic and team-based excellence that impacts social and leadership skills as a platform for building self-esteem, dedication and responsibility; to develop and implement school-based and community-based programs in at-risk and underserved areas of Arizona, Texas and California; and to provide therapeutic outreach to schools, social service organizations and community resource agencies with primary emphasis on special needs participants.

Mr. Mooney has been a Board Member at Rady Children’s Hospital in San Diego and done extensive work with Phoenix Children’s Hospital. He is a University Board Member at Pepperdine in Malibu, California. He also sits on the board of Panam Terra, a soon to be public agricultural company. Chad is also Chairman and CEO of Clear Choice Financial in Scottsdale, Arizona.  Chad completed his B.A. at Trinity College. He was a member of the Henley Royal Regatta Crew and Captain of the 1973 football team.
